The Police service commission (PSC) in line with Nigeria Police recruitment board has announced the start-up date for registration ahead of its annual recruitment exercise across the country.
The 2023 Nigerian Police Recruitment Exercise is structured to last for a period of six weeks, following the closure of the registration portal.

2023 NIGERIAN POLICE RECRUITMENT EXERCISE (REQUIREMENTS)
There are certain criteria’s/condition that qualifies your registration. They include the following:
The applicant must a Nigerian Citizen
Must have his/her O’ level result either WAEC or NECO (not more than two settings)
Applicant must possess a means of identification such as NIN
Applicant must be of good conduct and worthy of character.
Must be between the ages of 18–25 years
Must have five credit in prerequisite subjects, including mathematics and English.
Female applicant must not be pregnant at the time of entry.
Must have valid email Address
He/she must be medically, physically and psychological fit.
Must not be less than 1.67m tall (Male) and 1.64 for women.
No criminal records
Any SSCE certificate or statement of result taken before 2015 will not be considered.
Presentation of fake document is a crime.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
The Nigerian police force urge interested applicants to apply via the registration portal to fill the online application form and upload the following scanned documents:
Birth certificate
Certificate of origin
SSCE Credentials
Note: You are to print your guarantors form, completed online screening forms and submit same document during the physical screening exercise.
CREDENTIAL SCREENING EXERCISE AND AUTOMATED PHYSICAL
Applicants who meet up with the registration criteria will be invited for physical screening exercise. The exercise is done to enable the board to verify originality of all uploaded document on the portal.
DOCUMENTS AT THE SCREENING EXERCISE
The following documents will be presented at the screening arena:
Educational qualification
Declaration of age or Birth certificate
Certificate of physical fitness from a recognized government health institute.
Documentary evidence of good behavior from your kindred head/community head.
Endorsed guarantor form from a police officer not be the rank of CSP, public servant (not below the rank of GL13) or any equivalent paramilitary service or armed forces.
APTITUDE TEST
Applicant are required to sit for the aptitude test that determines the shortlisted category for a medical screening, which will be communicated in due course.
